Since the 12th century visitors have entered York through the Micklegate Bar, and today the Micklegate Quarter takes great pleasure in welcoming you into our little corner of the city!
The Micklegate Quarter was established in 2010 to preserve and develop the rich character of our local environment and to promote the many treasures we have to offer.
